Last Wednesday, Nationalist Congress Party or NCP requested the government for a private inquisition regarding the illegal establishment of cement refineries, operated by at minimum eight firms, in woodland regions located in Jaintia Hils district, Meghalaya, according to Conrad L Sangma, the NCP chief.
